Draz

Father God, I come before You right now lifting up my brother Draz. Lord, Your Word says to taste and see that You are good, and that the man who trusts in You is blessed. I anchor this week's prayer there, because Draz and his family are living in uncertainty right now, and uncertainty is exactly the place where a man finds out whether he trusts You or just trusts a plan.

Lord, I lift up his children first, because that is what he asked for first. You see their discomfort with everything that is unsettled. You see how the not-knowing lands on kids differently than it does on adults. Father, make them strong. Make them well. Give them a security that does not depend on the answers being in yet. Let them feel safe in their home because their dad is steady, and let their dad be steady because You are. Protect their hearts and minds through these life challenges, and let them look back one day and see that You were good to them the whole way through.

Father, I lift up the visa decision they are waiting on. You know the timeline. You know the outcome. You are not waiting to find out. I ask You for favor. Let the decision come back the way that is best for this family, and let it come sooner than expected. Where there are people making decisions, give them clarity and goodwill. Where there is paperwork, let it move. And where the waiting stretches on, give Draz peace that does not require the answer to arrive first.

Lord, give Draz the trust to hold this season with open hands. He cannot control the decision. He cannot control the timeline. But he can trust the God who holds both. Show him that You are good in the waiting, not just in the answer.

Give him wisdom to lead his family through this. Words to say to his kids when they ask questions he cannot answer. Steadiness to model what trust looks like. And strength for the days when the uncertainty wears on him too.

And Father, I rebuke every attack of the enemy on Draz and his family in this season. Satan, you have no authority here. You do not get to use uncertainty to plant fear in his children. You do not get to convince Draz that God is indifferent to the outcome. You do not get to whisper that the waiting means God has said no. We see your schemes, and we shut the door on every one of them in the name of Jesus.

Father, build a wall of protection around Draz's home, his children, and this process. Send Your angels ahead of him into every office, every conversation, and every night when the worry wants to take over. Let him feel Your nearness so clearly that the enemy's voice loses every inch of ground it tried to take.

Refill what is empty, Lord. Give Draz moments of joy this week that come out of nowhere, just to remind him that You see him, You delight in him, and You are fighting for him and his family.

I thank You for Draz. I thank You for a father who put his kids first in his prayer request. That is a man who is already trusting You with what matters most.
